MAHARISHI NATIONAL OLYMPIAD 2021-22
Important Note
This is regarding Maharishi National Olympiad 2021-22 held in February 2022 through online and offline mode.
Result of the Maharishi National Olympiad 2021-22 has been declared. Participants can follow the below mentioned steps for locating their result –
Click on the MNO Result 2021-22 tab, two sheets namely Result Sheet & Medal Winners sheet will appear. You can -
a) Click on Result Sheet, Type command (Control + F ) to find your name in the result sheet, then search school name in the appeared tab and press enter. Now find out your name in the respective class.
b) If you want to search medal winners, click on Medal Winners sheet, and scroll down the sheet to find your name.
His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, the most dedicated disciple of his Master—Shri Guru Dev, Anant Shri Vibhushit Swami Brahmanand Saraswati Ji, Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Jyotishpeeth, Badrikashram, Himalayas - was widely regarded as the foremost scientist in the field of consciousness and the greatest teacher in the world history.
Maharishi Ji completely restored the knowledge, technologies and programmes of Veda and the Vedic Literature of which Transcendental Meditation (TM), is the most widely practiced meditation technique in the world. It is a very simple, natural, effortless and scientific programme which gives enormous physical and mental benefits including better concentration, improved understanding, better relations with colleagues etc.
Maharishi Ji devoted all his life for the establishment of Peace in the world. After Maharishi Ji attained Brahamleen stage on 5th February 2008, his most dedicated disciple Brahamachari Girish Ji is carrying forward the task undertaken by Maharishi Ji. Brahamachari Girishi Ji firmly believes in the learning capacities of the students. "Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group" is making every effort to sharpen these skills to develop the students as better citizens of the world.
Competitions keep our students growing and shape them as sparkling individuals by means of excelling in their endeavor and therefore Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group has been organising the National level assessment and recognition programme namely Maharishi National Olympiad from 2017 for the students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools where they develop the true spirit of Competitiveness.
In order to generate enthusiasm amongst students and their parents during this difficult time of Covid-19, the Board of Directors, MVM Schools Group has decided to organise Maharishi National Olympiad 2021-22 through online mode. It is believed that this will create a feeling of goodness or even Bliss amongst all together with development of spirit of competitiveness at the same time.

Examination Module –
The examination is a performance booster by analytically supplementing the preparations of students. The syllabus for this examination is a composition of both current and immediate previous classes in a ratio 75% and 25% respectively. In each subject there are 50 Multiple Choices.
The examination will be held in "Online mode".
Questions for 100 marks provided by no negative marking. Every participant gets the Certificate of appreciation mentioning his/her marks and corresponding all India ranking. Class wise toppers of each subject are recognized by Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.
Salient features of MNO 2021-22-
a. Eligibility: Students studying in classes V to XI
b. Subjects:
For classes V to X - Science, Mathematics, English, Sanskrit, Maharishi Vedic Science , General Knowledge & Aptitude.
For Class XI - Science (Physics & Chemistry), English, Sanskrit, Maharishi Vedic Science, General Knowledge and aptitude, Mathematics or Biology or Commerce or Humanities.
c. Syllabus: As prescribed by CBSE/ State Boards for respective classes except Maharishi Vedic Science and General Knowledge and Aptitude.
Maharishi Vedic Science – Preliminary Vedic knowledge & works and teachings of His Holiness Maharishi Ji.
General Knowledge and Aptitude - Appropriate to the IQ levels of students of particular classes as given above.
d. Registration Fee: For each student, registration fee for MNO 2021-22 is Rs. 130/- per subject per student.

Awards & Recognition -
All the participants will get a certificate of appreciation, irrespective of their score / performance.
In addition to these, on getting 80% aggregate in three or more subjects, the top achievers will be given the cash award of Rs.5000, 3000 and 2000 respectively along with Certificate of appreciation depending upon number of subjects participated. In case, no student(s) qualifies these parameters in particular class or classes, qualifying marks and amount of prize there of shall be decided by the Board of Directors of MVM school group.

It has already been informed by the school management about the scheduled time table of MNO 2020-21 to be held from 17th to 19th February 2021. Instructions for the same are mentioned hereunder.
Students are requested to read them thoroughly in order to understand the process of online examination.
- A. Information regarding examination link
- An online link of the exam shall be sent to the registered emails of all participants one day prior to the scheduled date of the examination.
- All the students who have registered for the examination should ensure that they have received the link one day ago.
- If any student does not receive the link, he/she can send their registered email id to his/her class teacher along with registration details so that the link can be sent to him/her at the earliest.
- B. Minimum Browser Requirements- Internet Explorer 9, Firefox 1, or Google Chrome are required to appear in the examination. If you have any questions, please contact your class teacher.
- C. Steps For Accessing Your Exam Online:
- Close all programs, including email other than registered email in the device.
- Click on the exam link provided in the registered email from the mnoexam@gmail.com
- Enter the required information on the form and click “Next” to solve the multiple choice questions.
- D. During the exam:
- The student may not use his or her textbook, course notes, or receive help from any other outside source.
- Students must complete the 50-question multiple-choice exam within the given time frame allotted for the exam.
- Students must submit the exam within the stipulated time limit irrespective of the number of questions attempted. If the participant does not click on the submit button before the end of time limit, his/her answers would not be recorded on the server and due to this his/her participation will end there itself.
- DO NOT REFRESH THE PAGE WHILE THE EXAMINATION IS IN PROCESS. This is especially important in an online environment where the system will "time-out" and not allow the student to re-enter the exam form.
